I was wondering how well it would work to use a cheap digital projector to trace out an image ahead of a painting (instead of using the grid method or a traditional mechanical projector).

Has anyone here tried this? Does it work well enough? Smiley

That's one of the things I was wondering about. Say a Pico Projector angled so that only your hand/arm is in the way?

What do you think?

I used the same technique to trace out our company logo onto a wall before coloring it in. Worked fantastically. The results were better and more accurate than I could have achieved just by eyeballing it.

Let us know how it comes out!
