Hello. Where should I begin?

 Facepalm

I have been working on a videogame for what feels to be a ridiculous amount of time. I have a ton of artwork made and a thorough list of game design ideas planned out for a passion project called Dinosword.

I have a list of requirements that I would appreciate from the next collaborator on this project.

  • Must appreciate weird humor.
  • A willingness to adhere to some form of mutual deadline.
  • A thorough understanding of Gamemaker.

I'd like for this collaboration to potentially grow into a long term team. Please, contact me if you are interested!

Thanks,
Jeremy Lowther

Nice looking project.

Why Gamemaker?  Is there an existing codebase that you want to continue with?

I have Gamemaker Studio. I started learning how to use it and have been using it for 4 years(?) on and off. I'd like to continue it in. But, I guess if someone came along that has a ton of experience and a game they finished using something else, I could possibly be swayed.

I have had some pretty promising folks get a hold of me so far and the list is growing. But, I want to let things open for awhile to see who's out there. Hopefully, I'll have my decision by the end of the week.

If you think you might be the right pick for the game get a hold of me.

Have you considered checking out GameSprout?  (http://www.gamesprout.com/)

It's basically a platform for pitching a project and getting feedback and other willing contributors involved in the form of art, code, design, gameplay testing, etc...

Read the TOS to see what you're agreeing to before you commit, but if it's something you're willing to put out there instead of dying on your hard-drive, maybe it's worth checking out. Smiley
