The Lion of Zenda - A game about political intrigue and bombings and workplace harassment and coffee in a tiny european country you’ve probably never heard of.

The Point and Click Jam (http://jams.gamejolt.io/pointandclickjam 14th - 29th November 2014) is hours away from starting and our team is raring to go - we’ve got coders, an audio guy, a solid story and a part-time artist - but we need another artist!

We’re looking for some who can 3D model, rig and animate (in any software, as long as it imports into Unity (atm. we’re using Blender, but Unity’s happy importing .fbxs, etc.)). Experience with Unity’s mecanim system and graphic design skills a definite bonus!

The Lion of Zenda (TLOZ) will be made in a low-poly, low-res art style, a cross between 90’s era adventure games and PS1/PS2/Half-Life 1 3D artwork. An example of the style we’re going for follows…

The project requires 4 human character models (one of which is mostly done, see above), ~28 detailed (PS1 era) props and three rooms (with some minor additional scenery).

Animation will be mostly limited to walkcycles, though the design calls for about 10 hero animations - drawing and aiming a gun, for example.

The story and puzzle design are finalised, but we welcome collaboration on dialogue and characterisation.

The current team is international, but a solid grasp of English is essential. European time zones a plus. Team will be coordinated with Google Docs, Trello, Skype, Git, semaphore and duct tape.

TLOZ is set in the country of Ruritania, which has recently suffered a series of financial catastrophes and coups. As private secretary to the abrasive and demanding President Elke Rassendyll, can you protect your family and find a better future for all of Ruritania?

Join us for a two-week tour of duty on the edge of the Ruritanian civil war!

Or help us make the game look good. That would be better.

If you're interested, send me a PM with your portfolio.

Hey, it's looking pretty good already!
Good luck finding an animator so your guy doesn't have to powerslide everywhere.   Durr...?

Thanks man! If we don't we can always change the story to one where statues glide soundlessly through office buildings...

...actually, nope, we really need that artist. =)

Still desperately looking for an artist here. There's a fair amount to code in the project, and I'm not going to be able to devote as much time to programming if I also have to do art.
