Hahah! Dude that's so funny and I just realized that too for myself. It's so weird. I usually go to work somewhere professional when I get dressed and damn man I work the whole day and I get so much shit done! So, awesome for bringing awareness to that. :D

Hahaha, this is absolutely true for me. I've always thought it makes me a weirdo or something. Cheesy

I'm just not that comfortable in pajamas (or equivalent) in the first place, but when I need to be productive I usually take a minute to make sure I look sharp. Not like anyone's around to see... but it makes a ridiculous amount of difference for my motivation.

I think The Oatmeal did a pretty great job summarizing the pros and cons of working at home.

PJ's are my kryptonite. I will get zero work done if I'm in them. Mostly because they're so damn comfortable and Portal themed.

this is the best thread.
also, on topic of advices, what i like to do to stay concentrated is to plug-off the internet, it really helps... i often catch myself on facebook out of nowhere, its like my mind does it automaticaly.
btw, pajamas rule, prinsessa sucks

Indeed it helps, but what to do when you are working with facebook integration for an app or something like that? Sad

Simple: don't do that. Don't cater to that culture.

I've been off Facebook and most actively social (i.e. real-time, as opposed to forums) portals for like three months now and I've gotten a lot more done than usual.

I often sleep without removing things. Everything on. I've never liked to have to do a bunch of stuff before bed. Brushie brushie and off I go. I'm not a nightly sweater, so that's fine. But big shirt is the best deal. Then I can change in the morning when I'm not supposed to be sleeping any more.

you suckrock tooooo
