Not sure he was a total fake, considering there's

of the work-in-progress. Here's the case for his non-deaded-ness.

UPDATE: Around 4:00pm on March 23rd, 2007, Richard (Dampe), the creator and developer of this game had been in a fatal car accident.

Another update: I'm not sure, but apparently Dampe faked his death to get out of this project, if he really is dead, sorry. If he is alive, I find it pretty funny. And possibly one of the best video game April fools jokes to date.

I bet he is hiding out on an island somewhere with elvis.

That's a shitty thing to do, especially since his faked "death" came on the heels of Shawn Noel's death and eclipsed it.

Noel actually produced things, and he did so with a uniformly high quality. I wish I had gotten involved playing his games earlier.

Not really on the heels, quite a while after. I didn't really like Shawn's games, but I respected him for the quality of his work.
Anyway, it's kind of understandable considering the person who faked his death was only 15 or 16 (I think)- he obviously realized that his project was far too much work (and maybe* he wasn't skilled enough to do this).

*okay, probably.

I had no idea he faked his death, either.  I find that to be extremely humorous. :D
