Was browsing itch.io, when I saw this.

Interesting pixel art style to give the illusion of depth. Seems like you just duplicate the the layer, move it one pixel up and right/left and put it behind the previous layer, then repeat.

First time I've seen something like this. Just thought some people might enjoy looking at it/get inspired by it, I don't know.

Yeah they took a fake voxel approach and mashed it with the style of Sword & Sworcery and made something that us indie nerds are legally obligated to fawn over.

I don't really like it, looks like they just drew textures on one face of a polygon and then  extruded the faces.

I agree, I don't think it looks too pleasing.

It would look much better if it actually had a complete 3D voxel shape and actual textures on the sides.
