Okay well here goes..
My name is Quan and I make video reviews and game plays for a near invisible YouTube channel called houndninja123. Im also an artist and do a little animation, My skill with art got me into some cool pixel art jobs for a game that never got out of beta  Sad
I first got into gaming when I was three and would play Tekken 3 on the PS1, after that I realized gaming was my passion. As I was born in the late 90's I never got to play those classics everyone talked about like OoT, so thats what I set out to do. I can happily say I used to own a NES and still own a SNES so people cant say to me I dont know what duck hunt is Smiley My favourite games have probaly been Zelda OoT, Half-Life series, Halo and MGS.
I got into the idea of making games when I was five years old. My mums friend was doing a progamming javascript course in uni and made this awesome little game, ever since then I came up with tons of ideas for games. It was when I turned 10 that I started to learn the skills of programming and became interested in such hits as Cavestory  Cave Story Merry gear solid, supercratebox and just recently fez  Gomez I really love the indie games community so me and a friend have started up a little dev team and a company, our first game is on the drawing board "literally" as I speak, it will be a 2D cover based shooter with and interesting gameplay feature witch I hope will create some puzzles aswell, I've written an excellent story for it that I hope stirs up emotions with in you. So I hope to hear from you all at the TIGsource forums.

Hey, my name is Chris and I've been going to the Utah Indie meetups for a while but haven't gotten around to making an account here.

I've always been interested in making games but it's taken me a while to get a solid handle on it.  I spent a lot of time messing around with game engines trying to make something but it wasn't until I started going to the U of U that I really got serious about it.  There were a few classes at the U that I really got into: low level C/C++ code, OpenGL, and iOS programming.  I had a platformer engine I'd started on based on the XNA starter kit and I ended up switching over to C++ and OpenGL so I could get it running on iOS (and anything else I could get it on).  It's currently running on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android (sort of Tongue).

I'm currently working at React Games doing Unity development.  My current indie project is a puzzle platformer that should be done before too much longer.  I really like fast paced platformers and my goal is to do a Mega Man X or Castlevania styled game once I have my engine ready for it.  Nice to meet you guys!

Hey everyone, I'm Brendan.  I'm currently a senior in college, and I'll be graduating with a major in CS in about two weeks.  I've spent the last 8 months or so working with some friends to develop our first game.  The project started as an assignment for a game design class, but we decided to keep working on our own time to develop the game and eventually release it.  I enjoyed working on the game, even though the last 10% was SO much more work than anticipated (although I guess that's the definition of the last 10% ... )

Nice to meet everyone Smiley

Hi, I'm UJTortle of In-Qu Games.

I'm been making throwaway games as a hobby, starting with RPG Maker 2000 (you can guess how long I've been doing this) and now I'm trying to take it a little more seriously.  I'm a big Mario fan, use those games as my inspiration.  Hopefully I'll be able to finish a project and contribute to the community!

Hello tigsource.
I have a simple introduction, as I perfer to let my actions define me.
I go by Darkandroid, BluDragon, or Dusty, so if you want to use any of those, it's fine by me.
I'm a programmer/artist for my group of 3 friends, who work under various names (mainly because we haven't finished anything yet), and most recently under Ruins of Dust.

Hope to share a game of mine with you soon!

Hello,
I have started programming like 5 years ago when I was about 13. I started with Visual Basic 6, but quickly moved on to java and I am still big fan of it. Later I did a lot of C++ with OpenGL or Direct3D 9. Currently I am programming mostly in ActionScript and experiencing the new Stage3D library, since deploying it on the web is very easy.
I like all sorts of games, but I am espescially into strategy and action rpg games.
I will share my latest game soon with you. Smiley

Good day, ladies and gentlemen.
I am leader of a one-man development team consisting of myself and zero others.
I am also the lead designer, programmer and graphics artist of an indie fantasy top-down shooter by the name of Marmoreal. There's not really all that much to show about it, so I'll leave that for some other time.

Greetings all,

I'm a jack of all trades who was introduced to gaming from before I have memories. I don't know if I first played a game on the Atari or the Commador64, but it was one of the two, and I have fond memories of both.

I started down the road to working with games at around the tender age of 9, when I hacked and modded Wolfenstein 3D on an Intel 386. Changed it to be shooting cookies and milk at Santas and helpers, since my mother abhorred violence.

Favorite games? Unique and/or re-playable games are my favorites. I love to go back and play games like R.A.D., Body Harvest, Graffiti Kingdom, and any number of rogue-likes(fan of DF).

I've mostly used c++ and procedural generation of assets up to going to school for game design. I'm far more open to languages now, but my inner designer is still ancient. My plan is to create a company(No Hands Held), and getting crowd funded to start up.

Greetings, fellow IGs. My name is Matthew Moore, sometimes "Ironmaus" or "Quizshow." I'm a designer for // do better games, a spare-time indie studio in the beautiful Northwest. I look exactly like this fellow here (because it's me):

I was introduced to video gaming years ago when I started playing Moon Patrol, Karateka, and other games on my Apple IIC. I broke into the industry by snagging a job doing blackbox testing at Microsoft for Halo Wars. Since then, I worked QA on a number of other MS titles before moving over to ArenaNet to work QA on Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. Now, my day job is as a designer at AreanNet, but my work outside is pure indie. // do better games just released our first title on Windows Phone and XBLIG: Pendulous.

I also enjoy writing and recording music and hosting pub trivia. Recently, I've started looking into creating new card and board games...

Hello. My name is Private, and I specialise in programming, designing and 3D modeling.

I first got into video games by playing the Commander Keen games, and got even more into them by playing Nintendo 64 games. I'm more of a fan of retro games, rather than modern games.

I have already got a big commercial indie game in the works, expect more later.

Hi TIGsource. I've been a lurker on your forums for quite some time. Having learned a lot from this site, I felt I should probably contribute something myself, thus the account. I'm a Norwegian psychology student who has had an interest in game design in all its forms for as long as I can remember.

I made my first games, using Klik & Play, way back in elementary school, and made several games using Clickteam products during my school years. I'm also an avid pen-and-paper roleplaying game player, and I've made several such games as well. Related to this, I have a special interest in story- and character driven computer games.

I'm a "jack-of-all-trades, master of none" when it comes to creating games, and do programming, art and music for my games. All games I've made have so far only been made for private use, but lately I've begun working on bigger projects with the goal of releasing them publicly.

Having thus increased my ambitions, the TIGsource forums seems like a great place to discuss and learn more about making indie games as well as giving and receiving helpful feedback on games being worked on. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with all the talented and creative people on these forums.

Hello!!!!!!

My name is Dom, im progammer who also fancies himself a producer, working and living in Brisbane, Australia.

I've been playing games my whole life, the same as probably just about everyone who posts on here.

Childhood favorite games which in my opinion cannot and will not ever be matched: Goldeneye, THPS2 and Civilization 3.

Just a few months ago I started a games company with a few fellow grads from Queensland College of Art (again in Brisbane). Heres our facebook if you wanted to check it out.

Hey, I'm Kevin, a developer of Pulsen. I live in a populated area of Kansas in the US, and have been playing games on consoles and computers since age 6.

My favorite types of games are ones where you can really tell every little detail was accounted for by the developers.

Hi All,

My real name is Matt. I'm a programmer and a teacher at the university that I studied in (Macquarie University - Sydney). I originally wanted to be a game developer after I graduated; but I got a bit sidetracked for ALMOST 5 YEARS!! I'm now trying to break into the indie game scene with three other dudes form Silver Nova Software. :}
