Hello, Kuu here. I do graphics, code and music. I like to play all kinds of games, which basically means that I try out everything I can find, at least once!
I've been learning game development for quite a number of years now, with varying degrees of dedication, but only recently I've begun a project that I feel compelled to finish.
Realizing this, I thought it'd be a great idea to finally register here, after all that time I spent lurking around. You people might come in handy when asking for feedback.
The creative section seems to have a lot of interesting threads... see you there.
Wow... somehow this introduction turned out exceptionally boring. Whatever. :D

Hi Everyone, I'm a programmer/artist/game designer for a game I've been working on for the last 7ish months called Weapon Test Dummies. We've recently launched a kickstarter and are trying to spread the word for those who may be interested. Sorry if this sounds spammy, just trying to get word out. Long time reader, but just registered.

Just realized I've never posted here. So hi, I'm Dan. I've been programming for about 8 months and still haven't finished anything. But I've still improved a ton and am almost ready to release my first game! :D

Hi everyone! I'm Jackson and I've heard a lot of good things about tigsource so I figured it's about time I joined the forums! I've been making flash games since '06, and lately I've been working on a game about street canvassing! I like doing art and coding, and I try making music but tend to fail at it... My favorite games are probably Earthbound, Melee, Abe's Exoddus, Kirby's Adventure, and others that I can't think of, and anyway I look forward to playing everyone's games here! If you want to check out any of my games, or my blog about the one I'm currently working on, check out my website at http://www.jacksonlango.com

Hello everyone, my name is John Paul and I would like to introduce in this forum of reference for indie games, as I have not seen official thread I thought proper to do presentations here.
I have knowledge of pixelart, also use a programming language called GemixStudio and compose music using Reason 4.0, you see my turn to work all sections of a video game until you can afford to pay someone for help, i am currently developing a game influences 2D Zelda 2 NES and NES Battle of olympus.
My English is not very good, i'm from Spain and use google translator to translate my scriptures and read you so sorry if i can understand.
Greetings!.

Hi, my name is Fabian and I've read the tigforums for some time now and figured I'd join in on the fun.
I recently started learning pixelart and I've been programming a little longer.

Hello there. I've been posting and lurking around in the Audio section and the DevBlog section for a while, but I have only today saw this thread, so here is my obligatory introduction:
I'm Dogac, a composer and part-time audio guy. I enjoy games that empower me and enhance my skills, as opposed to my avatar in the game, or that let me experience, explore and have an impact on my surroundings. When I'm in dire need of something to procrastinate on, I start thinking about games and game design, letting my dreams on an extremely competitive RTS with a very smooth learning curve or a non-linear isometric RPG that I can experience my awesome unique adventure destroy my sociology finals.
Or something or other.

Hey! I'm new here. My name is Philip Bemis. Like everyone else here, I too make video games independently. I run the game studio Record Set Shed with my brother, Christoff. I was born in the late 80s and was raised by Nintendo through the 90s. I came from a household where video games were considered unhealthy and my access to them was heavily moderated. This had the opposite effect as intended. It put video games on a pedestal for me and I considered them the coolest, most mysterious things ever made. My fondest memories of early video games were the discussions they would provoke among friends. There was nothing cooler than hearing rumors of mysterious locations and events that were hidden in your favorite game cartridge; 99% of which were bogus. That didn't matter though. It was the mystery of what could exist that fueled the dreams of my childhood. Now, in the information age, any mystery in a video game is rapidly illuminated the instant it is released (often sooner, sometimes). I want to live in a world where there is still mystery in video games. Until recently, I thought that was impossible. Then I made my first video game. And barely anybody knows about it. This puts me in an interesting position where I have a game that is both full of hidden secrets yet not known well enough to have those secrets exposed. I have created the exact mystery that I once though was extinct. Now, if only I can find a way to make money while keeping that mystery intact. That's my focus in life at this moment... I'm very glad to be a member of this forum. Let's enjoy this life together, my friends!

Hello, i'am Grouroux from Little Big MMO. I live in Japan. Actually we (2) are working on a Indie Co-op MMO Shooter RPG called Gangs of Space. Before beginning the great adventure INDIE, I worked several years for a large company that publishes an MMO. In the game world, I especially like all games old school management strategy (Powermonger, populous, theme park, space bucks, caesar, sim city, creatures, dungeon keeper, pirates of the burning seas, Master of Magic, colonization, ...) platform games (mario, sonic, yoshi island), the 4x (spaz, imperium galactica, master of orion, star control) RPG (fallout, darkstone, diablo, ...) and much much more ... But what has most certainly impacted the last 14 years of my life is certainly the MMORPG (Manking, Ultima Online, DAoC, EVE Online, Dofus, Star Sonata, Realm of the Mad God, LotRO, Pirates of the Burning Seas , Ryzom, Hordes) And if I have to keep just one game (online or offline), Ultima Online will be ... provided they do not play alone and have an internet connection Finally, a few indie games that I particularly like: The Binding of Isaac, Minecraft, Cave Story of the Real and Mad God, Mount & Blade, Hammerfight, EV Nova, Star Sonata. This message is google translated.

Hi there.
I'm a nerd who makes things. Most of the time broken things. Or incomplete things. Sometimes both. Something that I'm hoping to change soon.
Well, see you around.

Hi people! My name is Ramón Nafria, and I'm the producer of a small indie (no one has put a dollar on us, so yes,we are very indie :D) company called A Crowd of Monsters. Usually, you can see me at spanish forums as Nae (or derivative like Naeval, Naecillo, Nae... Nae is a acronym of my name... turned), and at twitter as @naeval (spanish) or @crowdofmonsters (english). I have been working in several companies as Digital Legends, Nerlaska or Gameloft, at designers/producer roles. And I write in several spanish videogames sites, as www.videoshock.es, www.anaitgames.com, ... My life as gamer is loooong, but I began relatively late. Until 11 I hadn't a gaming platform that worked (before I had a Sinclair ZX81 that never worked...) and I began with the Game Gear. My favourite games... in this moment I have a record of my top 10, and I change sometimes a game from the list. In this moment is: 10 - Pro Evolution Soccer 9 - Jet Set Radio 8 - Psychonauts 7 - Guardian Heroes 6 - Yakuza 3 5 - The Secret of Monkey Island 2 4 - Civilization 3 - Fantasy Zone 2 - The GG Shinobi 1 - Ultima VII: Serpent Isle Yes, is very Sega centric... but that's the things I like :D. And I think that's all for now. Have a nice day!

Hello everyone!
My name is Thomas Pereira. I've been playing games since I was three and making them since I was about ten years old, so for about 14 years now.
I love the classic platformers and depthful RPGs from my youth, and I want to make a game that builds on all of those elements for the modern player!
I've got these crazy ideas about genre mixing, and that there are still so many unique ideas to explore, and those will be explored by the people putting everything out there (INDIES!).
Well, I'm going to post in DevLogs about my project now, so go check it out! I look forward to participating in this community.
Thomas

Hello everyone,
My name is Chris and I currently work on my first indie games which will be released for Android. I'm programmer by trade and I can also piece together some graphics if needed, though rather simple ones. My favorite game genre is RPG, especially the older ones (old like Betrayal at Krondor and Fallout old). I'm planning to participate in community discussions and having a DevLog here.
See you around
