Franklins Ghost: Did you read Alloy of Law, as well? That's a good 'un.
After that, I'd suggest just reading other Sanderson novels. I'm currently reading Elantris (his first novel), and after that I'm gonna start Warbreaker, The Emperor's Soul, and The Way of Kings.

I just finished reading Casino Royale by Ian Fleming. The start was quite dense and hard to follow, but after 20 pages it was much easier to read and very engaging. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks Inanimate. Haven't read Alloy of Law yet but think I will move onto that now and then follow your path and try reading his other books. Interested to see what he does in Alloy of Law. |

I recently read Arto Paasilinna's Lentävä kirvesmies ("The Flying Carpenter"). I found it very funny. It was about a bronze age Finnish man named Ronkoteus, who builds flying vehicle which is carried my White-tailed Eagles and flies around Europe and Middle-East doing all kinds of silly stuff.
At the moment I'm reading Paasilinna's Suomalainen kärsäkirja ("Finnish Snoutbook"), which tells about girl and her elephant who do circus tricks in Siberia and try to find living in Finland where EU has banned elephants and other animals from circuses etc. So far not as funny as carpenter, but still pretty absurd.

Norman is pretty much guru in field of usability along with Nielsen and their names got very familiar in my university courses about usability and user-centric design. And not for vain, their guidelines etc. are very good basis for designing products and software. |

"Howling Stones" by Alan Dean Foster: light weight soft-core scifi.
"ReVISIONS" ed. Julie E. Czerneda and Isaac Szpindel: a mix bag of alternate histories. So far, the collaboration between Cory Doctorow and Charles Stross in "Unwired" is my favorite.
"Olympos" by Dan Simmons: "Iliad" + "Odyssey" + space opera = I might have more of a clue in a month or two.

I am currently at the tail end of Alan Moore's run on Saga of the Swamp Thing. It's been fantastic so far, and the last few issues seem promising.
I'm also reading Alison Bechdel's new book, Are You My Mother?
About one hundred pages in I find myself less consumed than I was with Fun Home, but still a great read.
