Looks great.

I have a question regarding attacks, how are you guys doing hit detection? Do you have a collider/trigger that gets activated during the animation and if the other player comes into contact with that, they get hurt?

They each have slight stat differences, for example, Boxer dad's punches throw you back much farther. We're still deciding on all the different stat changes. They won't be listed anywhere in the game, we think it'd be cool for people to try & figure out what they are through gameplay.

Beautiful art  Tiger(I add a tiger because tigers are also beautiful).

love the local multiplayer brawler mechanics that we can see so far. We really like games that can improve a good party with a good slice of couch multiplayer experience  Beer!

Jeff took a build to Twitch Vancouver & livestreamed a bunch of gameplay. The Dadness starts at around  2:38:10



The game is pretty much feature & artwork complete - we're in bug hunting mode & gearing up for cert & a Steam release!

Ok so, no updates in a while because frankly, all we're doing at this point is bug squashing & getting ready for cert.

Dad Beat Dads is an IndieCade 2015 official eSports selection!



As far as the game, it's pretty much done. We're in cert for XBone right now, & that version should be out early 2016. However, the game will be released on Steam on Oct. 19th.

This game is done! (Steam version, anyway!)  It'll be avail for purchase this Monday. Go buy it so we can feed our Dads.
