My team has a booth at this year's inaugural PAX South (we'll also be exhibiting at GDC Play), and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for exhibiting! I've read a bunch of articles on exhibiting already, so what I'd love to hear is some personal tips and examples from your experiences.

Having exhibited for the first time last year at Denver Comic Con, I'd like to get the ball rolling by giving a tip from my own experience: Don't sit behind the table and expect people to come up to your booth. Stand up and go approach them! It's amazing how many people will give your game a try if you just ask them to.

Tip #1: If Bane shows up at your booth, it's time to skip town.

Seriously though.

My biggest tip would be to anticipate your most common questions and have solid answers for them. Nothing's more awkward than fumbling over your words or pausing while you visibly think of an articulate answer to a common question. I had this problems a few times when I was working for a new company and didn't quite know all the company practices/setup.
