Hello,

Hope you're all well.

Has anyone managed to get Google Play Game Services integrated in to their Android app? I'm struggling to do so, and would super appreciate any pointers / help.

I've tried using both the Java library, and the C++ library. No joy so far.

I just want to use if for leaderboards and maybe achievements, and also displaying the Google Play Leaderboard dialog window in app etc.

Anyone got all that working?

Cheers,
Jamie

I got it working in Unity. Their libraries are straight-forward, but there are lots of little hoops you have to jump through, and missing any step could put you back. One of the biggest pain points is just getting it setup in their dev center properly. Another pain point is making sure you've got their appropriate keys added in your resource files.

I don't have any useful tips per se. Just read the documentation carefully and make sure you're logging everything... the libraries are generally pretty good about spitting out error messages that guide you in the right path.

Thanks chaps.

Still struggling with this; has anyone successfully integrated this in Java (not Unity)?

Cheers,
Jamie
