I had a great first day. Went to some cool sessions, and got a chance to see Noel Berry, Evan Balster, Connor Ullman, zovirl, EdgeOfProphecy, infinite_ammo, and several others. I spotted phubans, but didn't get a chance to say hello. Looking forward to meeting even more of you as the week goes on! If you see a guy who looks like the weirdo in my avatar, please stop and say hi if you get a chance!

I wish I would've been able to attend! Especially since the game I am developing is playable at the 'GDC edition of Indigo'. Heh, was quite fun wandering in and out of Tads and bumping into Alex (ThemsAllTook) and PoV. Feel like I should have stayed longer, but hopefully we can bump into each other around the conference and hostel over the next few days. Feel like I should get more involved with the scene, but also feel like if I was going to these piss-ups I'd be getting no work done  Hope everyone's week is going well so far! I'm ultra jealous!! Sad that I couldn't go for office work, no money and no game to share.
I hope to go not "next year", in 2014 I will go. I have a year to get everything I need for it. So let's get started.

Having a game to share is nice, but certainly not required - don't let that stop you from coming!
Everyone I've met from tigsource has been super nice and friendly. A surprising number of them have recognized my face. It's great to feel like I have so many friends here! One day left... I'd still love to catch up with Jasper Byrne to try New Game+, and Alec Holowka to try TowerFall. Saw phubans again on the street, but didn't quite get a chance to say hi.

Is anyone doing anything tomorrow? I can't believe I hadn't checked this thread until now. I'll be checking out the GameStick at ARM's booth before heading out to lunch tomorrow. (It's right behind Unity's grand booth I believe) If anyone wants to play the world's first split screen 3d indie platformer just stop the guy in orange named Brian with "Independent" as his company, and tell him you're from TIGSource. So far, it's been an awesome week here! (and the Nintendo JS news is great! Canvas on Wii U ftw!) |
