After an extended development cycle, Lucky Luna is out now on iOS and Android - free on Netflix.
You might remember the game from quite a few years back.
It's a pixel art mobile-platformer with no jump mechanic, where you swipe your finger to move left and right.
Check out our release trailer We've been collaborating with Snowman for the last 2+ years to finish off our hand-crafted story levels but more importantly add a whole new procedural mode where you descend into endlessly generated dungeons whilst completing various objectives.
Big shout out to Snowman, they've been a fantastic partner, easy to work with, super professional and just great people.
On a personal note, this feels incredibly surreal to write after all these years but I'm really happy with the game being finally done and still think it's a pretty little thing which I hope you might also enjoy.
Lucky Luna is out now, free on Netflix! That's all the news I have for you today.
I'm sorry to keep everyone who posted here waiting - I hope it was worth it!
Peace, -nacho.

Man, the gameplay idea is great! You can sure do some neat stuff! I also love the concept style.
What is the project status for now? Level design? Is there a story?

I totaly get it!
The game looks really fun though, I like when I see the game design very focused on the platforms it is made to work on.
But it is hard to understand how the game feels through the videos. I see you have iOS beta o testflight, any plans for Google Play??

I saw screenshots from this game on reddit. The art is absolutely beautiful, and the gameplay looks interesting as well. I will have to keep an "eye" on this

Hi, the gameplay idea sounds interesting. I'd like to give your beta a try, just sent out a request on testflight. The pixel work is really nice, and the sprite animation is absolutely adorable.

The art's absolutely beautiful and I really like your approach to movement. The best digital pad I ever used was Sonic 2 on iOS, and I think it's still a long ways from ideal (not to say the porter didn't do a good job) so I'll be excited to give this a try.
I hope you persevere even if the initial response isn't the most immense it can be.

I already commented on your indieDB, but hell why not here too.
The concept is great, it gives a lot of flexibility and room for precision, which I have yet to see on a mobile platformer. That, and the current art is fantastic. Keep at it!

Oh man, I can't wait for the gameplay video! I mean, I've already watched the one you got explaining the mechanics and lore and it's fantastic, but can we expect this new video to feature the new art style? Please say yes!

I did not see any jumping in that new video. Do you get jump power later in the game?

Zorg, I saw in a Youtube comment he mentioned that the jump mechanic was actually taken out altogether. I think it's a bold move, I'm excited to see what is done with more focus on downward movement. Looks great as usual, can't wait to play!

This seams like a super cleaver idea, and I can't wait to try it out for myself. Do you think you would ever try making a version for the Steam controller, or Android Wear? I think this game would work perfectly for both.

Woah, great looking gameplay and I love the character. I also like the fact that you have to use the environment to jump.
