I made a game for Global Game Jam 2015. For those who don't know, the theme was 'What do we do now?'. Quite a vague theme; I decided to interpret it as 'some one ate all my cookies ... WDWDN?' So of course the answer is to run around and eat EVERYTHING else!   Hand Fork Left

In content, it is unmodified from GGJ, but I fixed a rendering issue and improved the hit detection.

Try it out and tell me what you think!   Smiley

Controls:
Arrow keys to move
space to start
esc to exit
x to go CrAzY (no strategic benefit (WARNING: don't do this if you are epileptic))
z to stop screen wiggling (if it reallyyyy bugs you)

You can grab a copy here:

A few questions for those who tried it out:
Is the game fun?
Is the goal obvious?
Is the style likable?
Is it too weird?
What do you think about the waviness? Distracting, cool, etc
same with the title screen; was it distracting? too colorful?
What do you think about the characters and models? Too simple, memorable, confusing, boring?
Does the name/plot, make you more/less interested in the game?
did you have any trouble playing? technical, or game related
was the ending satisfying?
Could you see yourself buying a full version, if made?

and don't forget to give feedback! positive and negative. Thanks!

Also theres a Linux version, and source available on request.

(But the source would require a bit of explanation...)

That was ridiculous in a good way. Loved pretty much everything about it aside from not being able to go fullscreen (is there a way?) and I'm not a huge fan of the steering style. It adds a bit more challenge than having typical 3rd-person controls though. Now that I'm thinking about it 'out loud' I guess it's a happy medium between typical controls and katamari steering. So I changed my mind. It's perfect! Add more stuff, gamepad support, and a fullscreen option, and I'd be all like  Hand Money Left  Wizard Hand Money Right

lack of fullscreen and fixed camera is due to this being a Global Game Jam game (made it in 48h). I just didn't get the time to figure it out.

If I'm to expand it into a full game, all of those things would definitely be in!  Grin

For the controls, the way it moves was the only way that I could think of to move around without being limited to the axises (or using a gamepad). perhaps I could have used the mouse, but theres no aiming to shoot, so half of the use of the mouse is gone. This is something I would have to look into.

Thanks for the feedback!  Grin
