Hi!

This is how my game looks:



What I have trouble with is coming up with ideas for art for hazards that would fit into the setting. By "hazards" I mean "walls" that kill anyone touching them. Obviously, spikes and lava do not fit the theme very well.

Laser beams and electric arcs are some of the ideas, but what I really need is something I could cover a piece of wall/ground/ceiling with, something that would fit the cyberpunk theme, would not be completely abstract and somehow be part of the setting (lab, military base, etc.).

Any ideas appreciated:D

some ideas:
- electrified wall and floor traps
- wall with detector that throws tazer spikes
- pipes that breaks and steam comes out to burn the player/npc
- trap that makes the ceiling fall on the player
- unstable acid flask that breaks when the player runs
- acid drops falling from the ceiling or covering a wall

Looks sort of futuristic so maybe...
- pit of acid
- hot pieces of metal
- fire
- tar
- gravity sink that pulls you into it when you get too close   Evil

Adding on to this because these are good ideas I would also say possibly some sort of lasers system that you have to navigate through and not sure if you have it in the game but should also possibly add alarms to were if you trigger it more of the enemies will come after you.
