Has anyone played any space-shooter roguelikes recently?

I've played FTL and love it, but am looking for an arcade space roguelike (like bullet hell).

Or if anyone knows a unique level progress / level design system that I should check out please let me know.. Looking for unique ideas for designing roguelike levels that are more suited to a top-down space shooter.

I know neither of these are space roguelikes, but they're the best roguelikes I've ever played: teleglitch, and not the robots. Teleglitch really is amazing at heightening the feeling of not knowing what's around the corner, because you can't see around corners, and in Not The Robots, it's a stealth game as well as roguelike, but you have to eat your cover to progress through the level.

Here's two I used to play a lot from opposite ends of the spectrum:

Transcendence:

Pioneer Space Sim:

Both have permadeath and pretty interesting progression.
