i finished the campaign over at the other tigsource. they listen to me over there, now.

first of all, role-playing is a game. you can gather three friends in a room and play the game im writing. i have done so, anyone could. you could do it on a thread on tigs. but lets not talk about my sanity anymore, i am more sane than you dorks. whatever kind of crazy i got, you got the crazy of being a game developer and not even giving a shit about games.

furthermore what im mking isnt so much a single game but a scheme of games. so assets, desiggn docs, all this early work needs to be done. its not usually paid work but it is work.

im not a huge fan of that game either tbh. i guess it is the monad: the pipe and not the picture of the pipe. but it spends a lot of time describing the pixture. you can't smoke it. too much half life railroad bullshit, not enough actual decision making. you can decide not to play it, but i preer playing games. sims, i guess. games where every possible outcome isnt mapped out before the player.

in short, its a bunch of premade levels not procedural games.

edit: spotted a likely tocky clone on here today. like an actual sock puppet, someone who did not exist four days ago, but claims to. someone apparently develeping a game for teh purposes of messing with me. that one is satirical though they are making a game. this is progress. they are evolving.
