To go along with the first post, I include todays major update. ( Yet to be deployed live - I will do so tonight).
ShadersDuring testing players found that they were having a hard time understanding what player owned what country, to amend this I updated the shaders (no easy task), to provide 2 views.
View 1
One is the original black & white view. It has always been my idea to keep the color palette very minimalist. I believe I will use this view now just for targeting.
View 2
Countries are now color coded during normal play, to allow a user to easily understand what countries belong to which players.
The view will change to View 2 everytime the player selects a new country to attack. After a short time out, View 1 will be restored again.
I think this is a good work around.
