I vote for metroid 2 as well. Already started playign it, but havent got that far anyway. Its an interesting case study in the metroid series.

So far Metroid 2 is in the lead, but if we're playing a game a month maybe we should wait until February 28th to decide.

Previous game clubs usually had a 30 day schedule regardless of what date it was. It really shouldnt matter.

Yeah, I'm fine for waiting until the 28th. It'll give me time to order a NES usb controller.

Am I the only one here with a calendar? You don't forget something if you write it down.

I'm down for Metroid or Crusader Kings II; and I've recently begun a retread of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. How would Seasons + Ages play out anyways? And who's to say we need to knock it to just one title?
Maybe I should be a dick and suggest Zelda II. :D

i do buy some of the cosmetic dlcs when theyre only 50 cents to make the game look a little nicer and support the devs. i mean ck2 is getting the kind of continuous support usually reserved for MMOs and that alone is rad as hell. ive been playing the game since it came out and it's crazy how much it changed, probably even moreso than other paradox games.
but yeah point is, buying all the dlcs (even just the gameplay ones) is expensive. also all the dlcs except things like ruler designer and way of life only unlock the ability to play different rulers and don't add any new mechanics per se.

there's a fun thing involving forums and CK2 where players pass on a save file to another player after playing through a monarch. could be fun to have multiple circles going, but might require more organization than possible.
