The one criticism I have is that you shoulda used low poly graphics like the original

Why? Only so that it looks more like the original games? No reason for that.

I haven't played the originals, but I'm loving the aesthetics in this game, even though it looks like a rather traditional platformer. I really enjoy traditional platformers if they're done well, though.
Slow to respond me.

No, not just for the look, but because the original used 3D on 2D backgrounds to achieve freedom of movement. It allowed for them to make characters do lots of things and they wouldn't have to render them in 8 or 16 turn around poses, and then only have 8 or 16 turnaround poses. Now, granted on a side scroller that's not a big deal, but I think if you ignore that it's not as Twinsenny as it could be.

Evening fellows.

We have recently come to the conclusion to discontinue production as a fan game and are now working with a completely original design.
It will be a similar experience to what we have established so far, just we won't be restricted by trying to forge a relationship with the official franchise.

So here is the very last build of Twinsen:

It's sad to release it with flaws, but it's still worth releasing I think.
Thank you for your interest and look for us in the near future Gentleman

The game is absolutely beautiful; I love all the little visual details. It's a good thing that you decided to move on from the fangame aspect, because really, this game needs more exposure, and infringing copyright is not a good way to go about that.

Yeah -- I enjoyed playing it, but it doesn't really capture the feel of Twinsen very well, does it?  Your designs just aren't from the same universe.  But it's lovely if I think of it outside of my expectations for Twinsen, so I'm glad to see you're taking things that direction! Smiley
