I feel about ready to give a crowdfund a try but there's one issue I need to address before I do.

I am unable to find any way to give away keys or gift copies of apps on Google Play if the app is paid. I can't really promise backers a copy of the game on Android if there's no way to give them one! Anyone have some insight into how to address this issue?

can't you just give them a compiled apk of the game to put on their android?

That is possible, I just don't know if customers are willing/able to install from APK's. Spent most of my time on iOS so I'm learning the nuances of the play store. I'll have to test this with a few friends and family, thanks for the idea!
