The vet from the first Beethoven movie is out of prison now, and kidnaps Beethoven to get revenge. The movie starts with Beethoven on a metal vet's table. He has already been given some anesthetic, so he's not resisting or trying to run. A sequence of film, estimated to be between five and ten minutes in length, of the vet inserting an IV line and injecting euthenization drugs into Beethoven is slowed down to last about 60 to 80 minutes in length. This segment is filmed entirely with a stationary camera focused on Beethoven. All sounds are recorded as-is, with no additional foleys/soundtrack/etc. The audio is not slowed down to match the film but is instead repeated.
Halfway through this segment, another segment of film detailing Beethoven finding the light begins playing superimposed over the other segment. Initially, this second segment is very faded and nearly impossible to see, but will become clearer over the remaining 30 minutes of the first half of the movie. Note that the second segment will never become fully visible, and that the first segment will always be visible under it. Additionally, the second segment will be running at a different speed from the first.
Both segments will come into sync in a scene where the movie begins playing in realtime as the vet spontaneously drops dead, which marks the end of the first half of the movie.

I like it, but dividing movies into halves with the first half ending in a cliffhanger is a cheap move and I will never support it.

Wait, with Harrison ford in the lead, produced by Ridley Scott and directed by the Prisoners and Enemy guy? It might actually be pretty good. On the other hand Prometheus was such terrible shit... I don't know.

ridley scott hasn't made a good movie in like 20 years and harrison ford is old and wrinkly
he's probably trying to tie bladerunner and alien canon together why do we keep trusting old farts who made a cool thing in the 70s to do shit stop it stop buying tickets to fucking kiss concerts in the the 2010s too what's wrong with everyone

Prometheus was a very good movie because it was about the search for objective truth and how every character got sidetracked by their own personal biases which prevented every last one of them from having a chance of understanding what the fucking plot was

Alien three and resurrection were both entertaining but bad movies (not in the "so bad it's good" way, though)

Alien 3 was legendary because of its trainwreck production. Whole franchise was run into the ground early, now lets retcon it in a cheap pandering trick. Snitches gonna be doin new Star Wars prequel trilogy in a decade.
