This is the first greenlight mega success and does not follow any other gaming trend.

It is actually similar to Night Trap (on the Sega CD), just not as humorously terrible.

@silber
What I meant is that it does it in a very different way than others who are stuck in recycling the same contents and recycling the same mythos and lore. It's different in shape, form and contents, only horror is common. No zombie, no cthulu, no science experimentation, no reporter, no government, no moving inside empty mansion, etc ...

That was way better than it had any right to be. Its pretty clever, and the cartoony versions of the cast are adorable.

I'm not so sure about a FNAF movie. Horror movies are super hit or miss for me, and I'm not sure a big budget film could possibly respect the subject matter. What's FNAF without all the environmental storytelling and subtlety?

It'll still be neat to see though, if only for curiosity's sake.

My daughter is going crazy about the movie, she is hooked on the games. She even rebuilt one of the one settings in MineCraft.

yo i don't really like these games that much but if they pull off all that stuff in the movie it'll frickin' own. i would pay money to see that. unfortunately a lot is said during prepro that never happens, so i don't want to get too excited.

also y'all should really check out his other games. i think a couple are free on steam. he's a cool, very productive dude and has been active since before cave story.
