Is anyone here interested in teaming up in order to promote their game in another city?

  • There are tons of meetups and small expos that are totally free to demo your game at here in Boston
  • I'm guessing that is true of some other cities
  • It is prohibitively expensive to fly to another city and pay for lodging just to demo
  • There are diminishing returns from demoing at local events because there is overlap in the attendees

My idea is a strangers on the train type crisscross.  I demo your game in Boston, you demo my game in [insert city name here] and we both get more coverage than we would otherwise.

Feel completely free to ask a friend who lives in your city to demo my game on their laptop so you can do what you normally do and pitch your own game.

Does this idea interest anyone here?  I'd love to hear your feedback on why or why not.  If you're interested let's make it happen.  PM me and we can work out some details over email.

TL;DR
Strangers on a train type criss cross you demo my game in your city and I demo your game in mine.
