Hi.
We present you Rollman - an adventure game with a turn based fight system. It may look on the screens like its graphics were made with Paint, and I might say that it was possibly true (sketches were scanned and digitized in MS Paint). Originally it also had songs on soundtrack (yes, with vocals), but now there are only instrumental tracks. All music was recorded live.
This game has a long history, as it was mostly done back in 2003 (Pascal and DOS, in so called 13h mode). In 2010 we wanted to improve the game, but we couldn't find the source code, so all of the changes were made on game's compiled exe file. It was as we were hacking our own game...
We present its final form. Game is fully playable in DOSBox (distributed with game). We can finish it in 25 minutes on easy difficulty setting, but for a new player it would be impossible.
Features:
  • retro looking graphics (cause it's kind of retro itself Smiley)
  • music recorded on real instruments
  • every enemy in the game looks different (no enemy clones)
