Participated in my first ever game jam! The game's art style and humor is reflected by the meatly comics, who hosted the jam!

The game was a mixture of guitar hero and a side perspective-shooter:

The jam started off with loads of fun and laughter, but the last 8 hours was very rough!

Thanks! Unity was new for half the team (6 of us), and for everyone it was their first game jam!

I'm a programmer by trade, but did art the whole time - got to try out Spine. Made the animations soooo much easier to do.

I have to say game jams are tons of fun, but I think I'll restrict myself to no more than one a year!

Yeah the definitely can be fun. I mainly use them as an excuse to prototype and share examples and ideas and find better teammates for next time. I force myself to do as many as possible. I did fall off though because It's hard finding a good team, but now I mostly enter them by myself. But kudos to you
