Alright, here's the kick animation as well as an updated punch ani: The grab animation looks nice, but shouldn't he be grabbing from the side?

I'm not sure if that's supposed to be the grabbing animation.

I think that was the grab animation for when he grabs an existing block, not another fighter. ... you guys want another screencap of the game for proof, or am I good here?

Yeah, that's true in the original game, but will Lyle also pick up block items like that? I think it would give him a bit a of a speed disadvantage, since other characters can pick up items instantaneously.
Oh, and now that I think about it: Lyle also needs a throwing animation for other items than cubes.

can't they just sit in the same place on top of his hands?

Yeah, the current throwing animations will work for anything.

That's great!
One question, what is the 'pick up' animation for?

I'm not sure, actually. JLJac came up with it and I didn't want to let it go to waste, so I included it. If or how it will make it in the game I'll leave up to Soulliard...

Lyle actually still needs one more tiny animation. There needs to be a frame or two of cool-down after he throws foreward. I'm not really sure what JLJac's animation is for either...

Okay so we finish this last animation and that's what? 6 characters done? Give yourself a pat on the back tigsource! How much more before Milestone 2?

It would be pretty cool if, when grabbing someone, Lyle would stay ontop of his target doing that pick up animation for a while.
Maybe he could use the "Grab" animation when standing on ground and the "Pick Up" animation when he's airborne.
Just trying to find a way to fit that in, here.
