Also why the augmented humans look poor, homeless and are treated as worse? You clearly need lots of money to afford augmentation and it makes you better at everything. Doesn't seem to make much sense. If anything it's the unaugmented people that should be rebelling against post-human overlords, with Jensen serving as an agent for the ruling class eventually coming to his senses, switching sides and defending the poor from other superhumans... obviously.
I think its due to the events of the last game. The Youtube trailer description explains it... Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. |

I guess with that big guy's limbs in the trailer looking like he bought them at a junk sale that signals the end of sleek and sexy prosthetics and a golden future of HR and the lead up to the dystopic reality of DX where mechs looked like jalopys.

i hope this is good, i liked HR. I won't make any judgments on this untill more information is released though, really we know very little about this game other than that it exists.
I'm sort of disappointed that they're using Jensen as the protagonist again rather than a new character. idk.

I thought maybe that big guy was Gunther from the first Deus Ex, seems like they would try and add some more ties to Deus Ex 1 maybe but I'd hope they have restraint on that kind of thing.

I'm pretty much in love with what they did with DE: HR and from what we've seen so far Humanity Divided seems to be going in that same direction, which for me is awesome news!

deus ex is basically robocop modernize, more so in HR:
I mean security person in detroit get almost killed and get rebuild with robotic implant, end up fighting against big corp
