Update #7:

This is the Grimoire. Here you will be able to find every ability that you've
obtained so far on your journey alongside a description for each one of them.

This includes combinations too! Two icons will tell you which abilities were used
to create the combined power.

We just finished the new trailer for Möira. We submitted it for BIG (Bralizian Indie Game) Starter, an anual game festival and we're totally excited about it! :-) Also, the game has lots of new stuff we're gonna post here. ;-)

Update #8:

We just implemented some cool new shaders so players can choose which one they like most. :-) What if we had an achievement for players who play 30 minutes using the Virtual Boy shader? xD

I know it's not my game, but  I sure do love some palette swapping.

We're working on a feature that'll let players choose their own palette! :D So yeah, you can input your (awesome) palette too! ;-)

Update #9:
Also, we're working on the final character designs. We're pretty proud of them. <3

Update #11:

Here's the current introduction cutscene of the game. The text is a little fast, but we're fixing this and timing the song correctly to fit the subtitles.

Update #12:

We've been out for months, but in the meantime we basically rebuilt the game from scratch. We have new color palettes, enemies, stages, magic spells... I have updated the main page with a bunch of new screenshots and new stuff. :-) Also, we're almost finished with our demo and we're planning to release it soon, along with our Kickstarter campaign. Btw, here's some cool gifs. :-)

Everything about this looks great! The art style is really polished, and it's application to the theme of Gameboy style really works well. As someone who grew up with an original Gameboy the aesthetic is spot on!

Best of luck with the Kickstarter!

cant believe i never posted to this, wow. ive been following this for a little while, and then you dropped off for a while. what i can say is that this game has a very megaman/kirby feel to it, in terms of magic and gameplay. it seems like a ton of fun. it also has a bit of cavestory, in terms of weapon switching, maybe?

somehow, they all seem to fit really well. good luck.

You're right. :D Our game draws inspiration from Megaman and Kirby. The gameplay feels more like a Megaman game but with the advantage of attacking in 4 directions, but when it comes to mimicking enemies' abilities is really feels more like a Kirby game. The weapon switching system is a lot like Cave Story, too, (those icons! Haha) But we're trying to twist thigs around and include the option to combine spells to generate new ones. :-)

And hey, thanks for the compliment! ;-)
