Hi everyone,

After quite some time and several requests, I finally decided to go ahead & put my game on Steam. It's currently on GreenLight and needs your help, so if you like what you see go ahead and vote yes! Smiley

The game is already available on several platforms, you can have a look at it on its own page here: http://www.thinicegames.com/games/twin-robots/

Twin Robots is a platformer where you can switch control between two little robots; They have been imprisoned and need to find the way out of each level! You can play alone or with a friend in local co-op multiplayer, so that each player controls one robot.

You’ll be running, jumping & solving puzzles together, but beware: Both robots are battery-powered so they consume energy in everything they do! Watch out for their battery levels! You can also transfer energy from one robot to the other so that they can both safely reach the exit. Sharing is caring :-)

Features:
- Strategy thinking: Manage your energy levels through the level so that you can safely reach the exit & charge the last door to open it.
- Puzzle solving: some levels require both robots to help eachother in order to solve easy puzzles.
- Smooth gameplay: You can adjust the framerate and the overall graphic quality from the config. screen, so it better fits the capabilities of your computer.
- Local co-op multiplayer action!
- Great controller support.

Note: To unlock the multiplayer mode you’ll need 2 gamepads connected to your computer.

Gameplay mechanics:
- Switching between the robots can be done at any time, you can only control one of them at once but as long as the other one is still alive you can claim its control.

- There's a timer on each level but time goes up, not down; It's in there as a means to measure your performance so you can get a score when you finish a level (for the online leaderboards!). If one of the robots dies, score is halved Sad

- If the battery runs out, the robot dies. The good news is that it can be recharged before reaching that point, either by stepping over the blue lights on the ground or by receiving energy from the other robot.

- The energy sharing mechanic works like this: In single player mode, you press a button to SEND your energy away - If the other robot is alive, it will automatically receive it, but if it's not then your precious energy will simply vanish into the air. In 2 player mode, the first player to press the button SENDS its energy away, and the second player has to agree to RECEIVE it by pressing the button too. So this means that you can only give your energy, you can not steal it from your partner Wink

Thank you!  Coffee
