GetOut! is a story driven 2D action platformer, inspired by games like limbo and super meat boy.

The game is about love, about how far would you go to save someone you love... but this time you are not saving a princess or girlfriend. You are saving your own daughter.

GetOut! has been in development for about a year, and it has an amazing story that I can't wait to share with the world.

The story touches your heart, its a beautiful but at the same time sad story with an unexpected ending.

But is not just about the story, the gameplay is really fun and it has a lot of action.

I really like the graphics, although there seems to be a mix of pixel art and vector? (The clouds look very pixelated, the trees look very smooth.)

Thanks! well... yes, I'm aiming for a very simple & clean design.

A few things look pixelated simply because it looks better that way, smooth clouds look very cartoony.

Visually it's great , love the vibe. , lot of ideas But why the rush for indiegogo?
Nobody knows your game exists.

It seems kind of empty yet.You should have at least made 1 boss , features need to have some visuals. Too much promises here. Are you going to put blood effects?

The demo is ok , didn't like the movement on keyboard (should have tryed with a gamepad). got frustrated at the wall climbing with the automatic gun shooting at you at bottom and top, and stopped there.

It's kind of sad. with more time and polish, more time on marketing , this project would be appealing.
For a Crowfunding demo prototype, you should have focused on a scene where you play the father with the girl on his back or something.  Felt like playing super meat boy with less fun :S.
