something to keep in mind is how relative this inadequacy is. its not like this is some absolute situation. a span of 6 months or a year is probably all it would take maximum, likely much less, so why even bother worrying about it? ive seen utter noobs become gods over a couple of years, its all about applying yourself and having genuine interest. just dont let these feelings of doubt shut you down or make you stop, because that really IS a problem!

also, skillsets are so asymmetrical. especially if you are working in a creative medium, nothing is directly comparable. the only thing that matters technique-wise is if you are able to convey or realize your intentions. if you are doing that or working towards it, then you are on the right track and thats that.
