I wish someone would make a new Tribes game
It's mainly browsing through open space. Is there a fun catch to that?

I would like to know what your views are on its popularity, say, compared to the 90s.
I think there are a lot of platforming games and I have only played a few. Recently Super Mario Galaxy 2, which didn't make me feel very happy, and I think Super Mario 64 was more fun at the core of 3D platforming. The Galaxy 2 game is more like stage after stage of more controlled platforming (less 3D) and almost pointless gadgets, the winged hat in the 64 game was awesome in comparison to the Boo and Bee suits LOL. I also miss all the exploration of the 64 game and its trivial yet at least a little bit solid story.

You have some pretty cool concept videos up. The characters seem slightly anonymous though. I like story in platforming games, sometimes it's the graphical style and story alone that makes me interested in a platforming game, for example Sonic Unleashed, in theory that's a really interesting game for me, yet with all its game mechanic flaws and flat story plot it still has several breathtaking game mechanics and seems more interesting to me than Galaxy 2. But I liked Super Mario Galaxy (the first one in its series) quite a lot though, thanks to its nice bits of dialog and breathtaking environments <- a lot of that.

Sonic Unleashed

My favourite Sonic game so far!
I`m a big Sonic fan and just don`t understand all this hate this game gets.
I don`t like the story and Chip as a character, but the gameplay and the world are so good.

The hate is towards the werehog half of the game actually. Sonic Colors is essentially just the other half and it was received much better for that reason.

also the boost to win was criticized for it's "simplicity" ( bottomless pit, mindless speed, qte) which all has been fixed in generation

Sure there is a place for 3D platformers! Otherwise it would mean I'm stupid making such game myself. And I'm not stupid.
