Submission is Open for Out Of Index 2015, an Experimental Games Festival
Out Of Index (a.k.a. OOI) 2015, an experimental games festival in South Korea, will be held in Seoul.
OOI is an experimental games festival inspired by the Game Developer's Conference popular session Experimental Gameplay Workshop. The goal of the festival is to inspire the game industry with new ideas and experimental energy. OOI is comprised of an experimental game contest and offline showcase and party. Last year, Out Of Index 2014 has showcased 14 official selections out of 72 games submitted globally at its offline showcase party, where 150 attendees filled up the site.
"Brand new gameplay experience" is the definition of "experimental game" used by the OOI committee. As long as they meet the requirements, anyone can submit to the showcase, regardless of nationality, status, or age. To allow convenient selection and showcasing, only digital games with a playable demo will be accepted.
Submissions are due by May 31th, and selected games will have the chance to be presented at an offline showcase and party scheduled for late July. OOI is sponsored by Naver Appstore, Nvidia Korea, and Microsoft Korea. Detailed information can be found at OOI’s website:
