Due to some work stuff, I haven't had much time to do anything at TIGS except browse very specific threads. However, that's over, and that means it's time for the next Game Club! To vote, simply say the name of the game you want to play or encourage others to play. Bold or underline it if you wanna draw attention to your vote; not glow or marquee. Try and pick games that are either cheap, free, or easily emulated. If you pick a game like Civilization 4, try to include the kind of start you'd like as well, as we will be playing those games in a "same seed, different players" way. Games we have already played (and therefore cannot be voted for): - Crusader Kings 2
- Metroid 2
Have at it!

I'm voting Earthbound, because Mother 4 is slated to come out a heckuvalot sooner than Bloodstained.
But I think SotN is a good choice too, and will play that if it wins.

Funny, I think the opposite. If I play rpgs or metrodivanias too much I get burned and feel the need to play something else. I probably wouldn't be able to play two big jrpgs in a row. But I would also play Earthbound if it wins, as I never played that game or none of the sequels and they all seem pretty good.

+4 symphony of the night
+5 For Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night. I'd like to have the next Game Club be for a game that I can actually play legally.

I'm voting for this again: Crusader of Centy. It's a fairly obscure Genesis game that, at a glance, looks like Link to the Past. But other than swinging a sword at monsters and being able to cut grass, it's a fairly superficial resemblance. It's got some interesting gameplay elements going for it, like a focus on jumping, and use of these Kirby-like "fuses" that change portions of the map. It's also got some interesting thematic things going on that question its genre. But I don't want to spoil that. It does suffer from some awkward localization, though. The European version "Soleil" might be a better choice in that regard. But it's a pretty fun and charming game. And probably not a lot of people here would have played it.

I'd be down for Crusader of Centy, having never heard of it/seen it before.
I'm ok on SotN. I think I'd prefer something like Aria of Sorrow, but I'd give SotN another run.

Crusader of Centy is a fun game.
It definitely feels like an early Genesis title, though, and you can tell where the devs just painted in big clumps of bushes to fill in gaps in the map.

I'll put in my vote again for Crusader of Centy. I still want to share that game with people.
