This is going to be somewhat sad thread, full of great potential and wonderful concepts that'll never see the light of day. I started thinking about this since I was reading through some old indie previews and stumbled upon OXhttp://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=39607I asked the developer on Twitter and it turns that the game was cancelled last year I'd say a game is dead if the devlog hasn't been updated in at least a year and there hasn't been significant progress elsewhere

GeneRicAt least the demo is still around (and is quite meaty in terms of content) but it sucks that development seems to have completely stopped. Worst part is that apparently the game was near completion when it was abandoned and that version is not around for download. The programmer was porting it to C with SDL and OpenGL, I had offered porting it to Linux while I still had some contact with him. If anybody knows how to contact him again you're welcome.

didnt the sentai n64 game actually come out (and also suck really bad)? i dont remember the title unfortunately but i do remember there being something like that. shouldnt be hard to find either way. it's not like the n64 was exactly drowning in fighting games haha. Edit: Here it is. Its called "dual heroes": https://youtube.com/watch?v=cHxdW9P463U

The fonts used in that game scream "we weren't given enough time to do anything properly".

What's with these games having an AI that refuses to attack?

growing up with a n64 is pretty much the reason i never got into fighting games ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- on topic: it would have been great to see spore as originally envisioned. also earthbound 64 and the original zelda 64 with the persistent world.

It looked cool. I also wish the first game got a good, real sequel. Prey 2 looked nothing like Prey 1 but of course still better since Prey is mediocre.

That was a cool game because you could customize your own character and you get to upgrade your moveset by taking a moveset from each opponement you beat. Had a fun time with a friend leveling up our characters until the day i forgot to save my character after a 6h gamethrough while he was watching me playin.... (my english is so dumb)
