Those transformations look great and the clouds have so much character. Super cool. It's nice to see some 2D graphics that are just pixel art Smiley

When I saw this, I was confused because I thought the game was done ages ago. Nice to see that you're making an expanded version of your old one. I remember it being pretty good.

I'm very glad that you're not a fan of pausing the player when changing form or acquiring powers. I've never liked that in games either.

The vine power looks a bit...flat or something, but other than that I think this is looking really great so far.

This is looking so beautiful!!!!! Can you quickly select the different elements or do you have to cycle through?

Woah, that adds a whole new level of complexity! Can you only have one clone? Or could you eventually leave a clone of every element behind?

Really loving the attention to detail in this project, if the gifs are anything to go but it looks like the game is going to be really crisp and feel really solid to play!

(Are you going to add any of the glow to the lighting which you seemed to have in the mockup?)

I really love the minimalist feel to the backgrounds and art. It look quite nice.

Are you mirroring the lighting randomly? It looks really good with short strikes but feels a bit to... uniform? on the long ones. It doesn't feel like it branches out.

This is all looking quite lovely!

About the gameplay, what exactly do you mean by open world? Because puzzle and open world don't usually get along with each other.

In my humble opinion, if you reduce the puzzle solving to open entrances and never require the player to open it again so he can move freely, that can work I believe. But you will be left with just plain movement for the exploration then.

Sorry, I hope I'm not being annoying  Embarrassed But I saw a few great games fall into the open world pit, like Fez, Thief 3 and 4, stealth inc 2. So I'm just hoping it's a conscious choice.

OK, enough being annoying. Your game looks amazing so far! cheers  Coffee
