Hey guys! I downloaded the game and played for a little bit and created a video.  Tell me what you think! I mentioned some stuff in the video that I think could be worked on, as well as things I thought were good. Smiley

Sure! Do with it what you like.

And good, I'm glad there's item splitting!  I'll try it tomorrow.

Hey again! I added a couple more videos on my youtube channel if you'd like to watch.

Couple of things I'd like to mention (I'm typing this as I'm playing)

Also, you guys spelled my name wrong ;P haha. (It's KoutetsuSteel)

Equipment

1. It'd be nice if you players could mouse over items and gear in the crafting menu and see the stats (so they know the stats before they craft the item). Also, if there was a small description about the item.

2. Sometimes items just randomly disappear from my inventory. Just now my hatchet disappeared when I tried switching it around on the hot-bar/quick bar at the bottom. Sad

3. Does armor reduce the chance to start bleeding in combat? If it doesn't, I think it should be implemented. If I am wearing full hide (or even full steel) armor, why would I start bleeding when bit by a wolf once?

4. Why are some items not grouped together? For example, "Arrows with Stone Arrowheads" and "Arrows with Iron Arrowheads" are under two different categories (Survival vs. Hunting Equipment).  I think all the ranged items should be put under some type of "Ranged Weaponry" or "Ranged Weapons" category.

5. Speaking of arrows, just call the stone ones "Stone Arrows", and the iron ones "Iron Arrows".  "Arrows with Iron Arrowheads" seems... long and unneeded.

Animations

1. Is there any chance that you guys are planning to make some of the animations smoother? When I cut a tree, mine a stone, or other actions... it is usually only about 4 frames of animation per action, which looks kind of tacky. Sad  I'd like there to be at least double that, if not triple... if possible..

Combat

1. It'd be nice to know how much damage each weapon does. Even if we don't know how much health an enemy has, I'd like to be able to know how much damage I do with each weapon.

2. When using the bow and you click on an animal, the arrow will shoot where you first clicked. Even if the animal moved in the middle of your aiming, you still shoot in the first spot you clicked.  Either have the arrow shoot where the animal currently is, or have the aiming stop.

Objects

1. I'm not sure why, but I seem to get "stuck" on objects in the world a lot.  I can get out of it easily, but when I try running along-side of something, I seem to get caught on it. (Especially in my camp)

2. Is it possible to turn down the opacity (see-through effect on objects when you are behind them). Some objects are so see-through that they are almost invisible, and I get confused as to why I can't walk south/southeast.

MY NEWER VIDEOS

Here are the newer videos I've posted. Smiley

I know. Smiley  That's why I'm giving you my suggestions.

If this game was already released, I wouldn't bother giving suggestions because nothing would ever be fixed! Tongue

I do like the feel of the game so far though!
