Already seen most of those talks, very good idea to regroup them! Even if it's not a mandatory list of stuff to do, at least be aware of all of them is nice. Didn't seen the one on animation though, it was really great and instructive. Thanks!  Toast Right

This is pretty awesome info you've gathered here! I remember listening to Vlambeer in an interview when they went on and on about adding "screen shake." Once they said that, it was like a whole new world opened to me.  Gentleman

Playing with flashes on impact, screenshake, huge impact sparks, enemy shake (like screnshake, but shakes the enemies themselves), it makes things really fumier IMHO.

What would be the best way to implement these effects in code? Would it be best for the artist to create the effect frames and then sequence the animation with the code placing it where necessary or are there more efficient ways out there?
