I want to make a game in the style of Hotline Miami (Synthwave, 80s, retro etc.) in RPG/comedy game form (like Lisa or Megaman Sprite Game) form that plays somewhat similar, but I want to know how much I can mention before it becomes a problem.

For example, can I mention websites like Facebook, Tinder etc, or would I have to call it Linder or something? Bookface?

I know a lot of games and shows call McDonalds "WcDonalds" and stuff like that, but I wonder if it's really necessary for a commercial game.

Just not too sure what you can legally get away with.

Errmm...don't you mean non-commercial?

I'd use MyFace (Myspace+Facebook combo)
