It also crashes to desktop for me, and I have the MSVC 2008 and 2005 redistributables installed.

Running 64-bit Vista on an Intel 2.40 ghz quad core with 2 gig RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512 meg video RAM

Hmm... it's probably the 64-bit thing... Can you try removing the msvc dlls i have included, since you have the runtime dist installed probably?

too bad it crashes here too... i really wanted to try it too.

so here how it happens:
the menu shows up. all works fine, and looks good...
then after 'bot practice' > 'start game', i can see the instruction screen of the map ("this is a capture and defend map"...), the firewall asks for access, i click "allow", and then the game crashes  Tears of Joy

GLIntercept logged:
Code:
Diagnostic: Unknown function glProgramEnvParameters4fvEXT being logged.
Diagnostic: Unknown function glProgramLocalParameters4fvEXT being logged.

tested on windows xp (sp3), 32bit, ATI mobility FireGL V5200.

an early demo (Landfall_alpha1.zip) worked here though, slowly due to the use of shaders and highressness i guess, but it worked...

Hmmmmm.... That is very strange indeed. I'll have to test it on a few computers and see if I can replicate it.

I will try this out when I get home. It works fine here at work, perhaps because I'm running on 32 bit.

I'm going to try out the same strategy for the people still having issues with my own game, so if it all works out, I owe you some thanks.

update: tried to simply remove all of the msvc* DLLs, but it didn't help :/

I can't seem to turn Anti Aliasing on it won't let me click the "apply" button in the graphics settings. I'm getting an extremely smooth framerate otherwise.

still getting that error  Sad

The video looks cool, but I'm confused by the screenshots.

They look like they were taken on OS X, but the download is Windows only?
