Alright, it's a cheesy recipe Durr...?

Crack your eggs on a flat surface so as to not get any little bits of shell inside, and then break into a bowl. Beat well, and mix in some pepper, lettuce, tomato and red bell pepper to taste. Oil your pan with two parts oil one part wine vinegar, it'll give your omelet a neat striped/speckled effect.

When your oily pan is heated, pour in your egg mix and keep pushing the curds around with the spatula when they form to keep them sorta fluffy, and when you have your chunk of egg, top one half of it with shredded cheddar or pepperjack, whichever you prefer. Fold it over, and press until it's sort of melted. Then sprinkle the top with some more cheese and some parmesean. Turn over again and press to melt that, then one more time, and top with some sparse dried onion in your melted cheese, and you're done.

The first weeks in the woods were the hardest. I had a freezer in the trailer which I packed with meats, but had no way of preparing any of it. Income wasn't flowing anymore. Garden wouldn't be ready for months. Just had to tough it out while tightening my belt.

Every night, I built a fire, thought about the food in my freezer, then went to sleep.
Then one day I discovered the human equation.

A nice simple meal for all you hungry indies out there:
Get a chicken fillet, chop it 2x3cm pieces, marinade them in soy sauce, finely chopped garlic, a little thyme and black pepper for about an hour, put 'em in a wide teflon pan, cook on low heat.

Pasta is awesome! My personal special is a meal called "Traditional pasta with a very basic salmon sauce".

Take one onion, one nail of garlic (or what they're called; we call them "nails" in Finland. Means like one 'piece' of garlic), chop them until you get lots of nice small pieces of onion, and put them frying on a pan. Remember to put some oil too. When the onion gets a bit yellowish, add 1,5-2 dl cream. Add also curry and soy, and perhaps some other spices you prefer; maybe even some dill. Lastly, add salmon to the sauce, in small bits. Then put the sauce and the pasta together and voilá! You've got some "Traditional pasta with a very basic salmon sauce". Remember to put also some cheddar or some other cheese on it.

Yum, talking about food makes me hungry.

Syrup and peanut butter are both too "sugary" for me. Or well, maybe not peanut butter, but I don't like it that much either. I tend to eat waffles with strawberry jam, and when it's about special things, also whipped cream.

I AM GOING TO BLOW YOUR GUYS' MINDS.

FRITO PIE:

Get yourself one of those deepish cookie pans, stuff you'd cook lasagna in. Get a large bowl. Fill the bowl with a half bag of chili cheese fritos, a can of chili and various seasonings like crushed red pepper or jalapenos if you are the spicy sort.

Mix it up and then throw it in the cookie pan. Top it with a HEFTY layer of shredded cheese. Bake at 250 or 300 degrees F for 10-20 minutes, until golden brown on the top.

Enjoy your delicious FRITO PIE.

EGG IN A BASKET:

Get a slice of bread. Take a wide cup, flip it over. Use it to cut a circle out of the bread. Butter the bread. Heat a frying pan on a burner. Place the bread on the burner. Crack an egg into the bread's circle. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes until the underside of the egg is solid. Now you can either choose to flip the basket and make it even, or you make let it cook through for a prettier top side (though thoroughly crispy bottom). You will be surprised to find that the EGG remains in the BASKET quite well.

It is also delicious with cheese.

I really wish I had a working oven as I could go for some frito pie Crazy, and also I was just about to post the egg in a basket recipe.. Oh well, onward to quick caramel pullaparts!

4 tubes of buttermilk biscuits

Pull the little biscuit chunks out and cut into quarters, then roll the quarters in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, then put in a pan around 9x3.

Now boil together a stick of butter, a cup of brown sugar, and a cup of vanilla ice cream. Pour that over the biscuit chunks, stir and then bake at 350° for a half hour. Then enjoy cuz it's really sweet and delicious.

Some of these recipes seem to be indeed very 'sugary' and contain quite a lot fat. :D
