Hey guys!

I thought you might be interested in a video I made today on how to market your game. It is the material from a talk I gave at my old university a few weeks ago, but I translated it to English and recorded myself giving the talk so that anyone could watch it.

Here's the link:
How To Get Your Game Noticed

And here's the link to the slides:
Talk Slides

I hope you find the material useful! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions Smiley

Enjoy!

Saw this talk cross posted on Reddit -- I wasn't sure it would be worth my time .. and honestly about 90% of it is things "i already knew" but I did pick up a few nice tips that made it worth my time.

For one I found out about GifCam .. which is exactly what I needed to make capturing GIF's of my game play a really smooth and easy process.. so that find alone was well worth my hour.

I was able to make this GIF for my Rise of Dagon RPG in about 5 minutes of messing around..

I assume other people have GIF programs they are happy with but over all its a good talk and if you pick up 1 gem out of it ..  hey what better use of your time can there be!

Ironically we're all more interested in talking about Gifcam than what he had to say (haha). Well, helping even if it wasn't entirely as intended! I'm downloading it right now, so thanks for the post and sharing your thoughts.

Great talk really enjoyed it. I reckon you need to release the Katy Perry version of the INK trailer Smiley

Just got around to watching this and, even tho I already know 90% of this, it's still a very cohesive checklist and the provided links/resources are super useful! Thanks!

Didn't listen to talk, but trying GifCam now! If we like it, I solemnly swear that we will donate.

Cheers,
