Hi there!  Gomez

I'm currently working with an external company to design the logo of my company, Himeki Games. Doing some research, I found out I should ask them to sign something in order to give me full ownership and copyright of the logo, not just rights to use.

Does any of you have experience with this, and could point out to some template I can use in this case? I'm based in the UK.

Thanks!  Smiley

Why don't you just contact them and ask for a signed statement that waives their rights to the work?  When I do professional work, as part of the contract, I state I waive all rights to the work upon receiving payment, so unless they have something like that written, then I suppose you could contact them and ask for a written statement. Ideally before they get paid, because if the difference between getting paid or not is a statement, contract, whatever that you own the work, they'll 99.999% most likely oblige.
