About The Game

One Dreamer is a platformer/puzzle/story type game (not sure what genre it falls into) about a gamedev who loses his sanity. I've been working on it for over a year with 2 friends providing the voice acting and soundtrack. The game will be heavily influenced by lucid dreams and such. The game was greenlit on Steam (14th, July 2015). I'm planning a release late 2016 for Mac, PC and Linux with hope for a port to PS Vita and possibly PS4.

Story

An aspiring independent game developer named Frank searches for inspiration by entering the twisted world of his own consciousness through lucid dreaming. However the deeper he goes, the more disconnected he becomes from reality and the more he contemplates his own existence.

This is giving me a lot of sword and sworcery vibes, really beautiful so far and I adore the desktop simulation!

Thanks JctWood,
I'm a big fan of S&S and their soundtrack, but not that into point and click type games. Also heavy dialogue games kill me thats why I opted to give voice acting a try!

The art style reminded me Sword and Sworcery and the narration made me think of Bastion Smiley

The game is really beautiful, good luck with your kickstarter !

Thanks Ordorias!
Late 2016 on PC, MAC, LINUX and PS Vita with a possible PS4 launch depending on whether or not the Kickstarter is successful.

I really hope a miracle happens in the next 60 hours.

In last order if the kickstarter fails what are your plans?

I do too!
If Kickstarter falls through this will become weekend hobby and we will have to bail on a lot of features. It's a financial thing.
Last 15 hours have been really good though. 35 hours to go standing at 75% funded.

For those of you who are interested, we just purchased a new audio interface for recording. Here's a quick track Ben put together over the weekend. We are confident One Dreamer will have a spectacular sound track!

Congratulation for your successful Kickstarter campaign !

I imagine that the campaign and the mailing of goodies must take you a bit of your time normally reserved to development.
