Well, I don't generally think slapstick is funny either so. Tongue

Slapstick can be funny for the stupid more than for the slapstick in itself.

I.e. this is funny because it's stupid and he's doing it to himself and probably is unscathed:

Slapstick where someone hurts or bothers another person is not funny, or someone getting hurt by accident. It's just cruel and annoying as shit and just generally makes me uncomfortable all over and makes me remember days of bullying and whatnot.

I guess that i agree, but I assume the joke is more about the fact that nobody quite knows what to call the thing/stick (not about the "rude" words)

I was discussing the general phenomenon, tho, not just this particular case.

the joke is the sensation and imagery is similar to playing with a clitoris or maybe nipple

Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

To be clear, I don't consider "clit mouse" a joke. It's just how I've heard people (straight-facedly) refer to the laptop pointer nub.

I don't think I ever thought it was a joke, honestly.

Like the New 3DS nipple?

to mee it looks like a nipple and it has been a rather effective wy to discreibe it concisely rather than just being humorous per se

DualShock 3, USB Saturn adapter with an Ascii Saturn Stick and two HSS-0101s. I need more of the latter because I'm paranoid there might come a time in my life where I don't have access to one.

I don't know what it is, but 360controllers feel more like a tool to me, while dualshocks feel like, "IM READY TO GAME".
But, hey, 360s are wayyy more supported, so that's where I throw my money.

if you use the scp drivers, dualshocks are just as well supported as 360 gamepads. it's emulation but other than button prompts in games showing 360 symbols, it feels completely "native" once you've set it up.

i personally dislike the 360 controller (face buttons and shoulder "bumpers", horrible dpad, too heavy, battery pack has to be purchased seperately and is big and bulky) so it's great for me.

okay, i did a little bit of digging. This seems pretty cool. Do you know if the scp drivers will still allow using the ds4 trackpad for mouse control?

I don't know unfortunately. I use a DS3 and haven't tried connecting my DS4 yet.
