What is BattleSouls?BattleSouls is a classbased 3rd Person shooter set in a fantasy universe that you play with and against other people online.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/392060Quick Look at the gameplayWhat makes it special?The class mechanic is new! It works like this:Before a match starts you will pick out 3 different heroes to bring to the match.
You can only play as one hero at any time, but you can switch between them freely
while you are alive (with a small cooldown)
An example is you are running down the map as a healer type and suddenly you face 2 enemies and with the press of a button, you are now a warrior!
Heroes are also special! Here is how they work:Each hero is very specialized and have 3 skills, 2 of them are active and one is passive.
The heroes passive skill only triggers when you change in to that hero, so change often to make good use of it!
An example: Baruus (wizard) has a fireball on left-mouse and a frostbolt on right-mouse. His passive change effect is a frost AoE that slows and damages enemies. So if people get to close to you, quickly change to Baruus to give yourself a chance to get away.
Gameplay in shortIn BattleSouls 2 teams fight against each other to destroy each others 3 soul crystals. In each end of the map each team has a catle ruin, inside this castle ruin the teams crystals will spawn.
There is a point in the middle of the map called the inhibitor, in order for one team to damage the other teams crystals, they must control this point.
The gameplay is designed to be very back and forth, and the pace/speed of the game has been designed with games like TF2 and Q3 in mind.
Right now the game is played 5on5 with free dropping in/out of servers (no waiting around for 10 players to be ready). That being said 5on5 is the number we are testing now, this could be higher in the future.
Why post here on Tig?We have been approved for Steam and we really want to do some closed beta testing of the game before we move in to early access with it.
The development of the game is far along, but there is still room for lots of changes and additions! Everything from skills to gamemodes to specific mechanics are fair game for change if we feel it will make the game better.
This is where you come inWe are looking for people who would like to help us test the game and give us feedback on it, both general stability stuff but also suggestions for adding/removing/changing stuff.

We have a playable of the game and we are almost done integrating the first batch of graphics so we have the first map and the first 3 heroes all ready to go.
