Anyone have experience in engaging the speedrunning community?

We feel our mobile game furdemption would be perfect for speedrunning... Even though most speedruns are older console games.

Would love to hear your insight, thanks!

The amount of games that are being ran by speed runners is actually quite massive, pretty much every game out there has at least one person who is trying to beat it as fast as possible.

Games who's speed runs tend to gain heavy viewership (Ocarina of Time, Portal, Mario 64) tend to be games that are already incredibly popular. People like to watch speed runs of games they *already* know. Not speed runs of games they have never even seen before. So it is unlikely that this is a good way to gain additional customers.

Regardless, there are a few forums out there where speed runners tend to gather. I reckon you could contact them quite easily over there.
