That looks really fun Smiley Is it extruded programatically or by hand? (I'm assuming the latter but some fancy tech like fez has going but more voxelly isn't ruled out in my mind).

@SolarLune Thanks. Yep, the girl isn't really good and she is gameboy 4 colors in middle of C64 tiles for another idea of the game, she's mostly inspired from a wonderboy look, I'm not really good with sprites, especially human and organic...

@Kevin I marry you only if you know how to code this thing ^^

@Geti You are right, this is tiled voxel, it's composed of 16x16x16 voxel tiles, I know it can be hard to see those 16x16x16 blocks but it's just because I haven't closed them on side I don't need.

If you have the voxels in some voxely format it'd be simple enough with something like polyvox, actually Smiley

It's not that bad. I stink at texturing more. :p Try baking some Ambient Occlusion and give it a normal map. The lights are interesting, but they're a little blurry - try making them crisper. You could also use an emit map for the lights so that they stand out in the dark.

EDIT: Idiot me - you already baked the AO for the other ship, which looks pretty good.

Here's a game that I'm making with the BGE that is about radioactive dogs stopping an alien invasion.

Devlog here. ... It's got a 3D camera.

Im creating these ships in opengl es 1.1 spec so no emit / bumpmap.

SolarLune :
Nice looking game, I've subscribbed you on youtube Smiley
Still imo making games in BGE kinda sucks.

@McMutton - Should've commented on this. Nice woman face. Her eyes look like Spider-man's to me, though, heh.

@nospoon - Thanks for the subscription.

In comparison to...? Why do you think so?

I didn't mean it's horribly bad, imo it's awesome for prototyping but :
-It's very badly documented (the python api)
-The python (text editor) is not-soo-good (it can't even compare to Eclipse or C# microsoft's thing)
-it's slow (maybe not very slow, but not fast either Tongue)
-You cannot do FBO's (from what i know), so you must do really weird things to have some basic things
-You cannot call to opengl functions :3

Also Sparky is a rather simple 2D game, so I'd just go with something+OpenGL.
